Dr Compare ("we", "us") operates drcompare.co.uk. This policy explains how we handle your personal information.
What we collect
When you submit our quote form we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, postcode, and information about the cover you're interested in. We also collect standard technical data (such as pages visited) through privacy-respecting analytics if enabled.
How we use it
We use your details to arrange the service you've requested: introducing you to an authorised UK health insurance intermediary who will contact you to discuss quotes. We pass your enquiry details to that partner for this purpose. We do not sell your data to marketing lists, and we will not contact you about unrelated products.
Legal basis
We process your enquiry on the basis of your consent and the steps needed before entering a contract. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@drcompare.co.uk.
Retention and rights
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to deliver the service and meet legal obligations. Under UK GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection — email us to exercise them. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
